I hold a morning (2-3 hours) mandated event and call it Student Interns' Readiness Day. I have our Career Center come in and talk to them about professionalism and then discuss with the students things like boundaries, ethical standards, etc. This is prior to students entering their internships.
I also host a two-day licensure prep day for our graduating students (both undergraduate and graduate). I also open this up to community, as I found there are several individuals who have not pursued their license but are now ready to move forward. Usually, I seek funding for this through a faculty member grant to pay for the seminar. We do not charge our students or community member, although in the past we did and this paid for the seminar/instructor.
