  • 1.  Asynchronous Field Seminar

    Hello!

    We have recently launched an online MSW program that has led to the neccesity to create a generalist/foundational field seminar that is entirely asynchronous.

    We will be using CANVAS.  If anyone has syllabi they are willing to share or an example of a really great assignment or discussion activity they have used, we woudl really appreciate it.

    We are currently using a version of our in person course that we just moved online but I would love to have content that was specifically designed for online delivery.

    Hi Johanna!

    My name is Kimmie Garner and I am a Field Liaison/Seminar Instructor for the University of Montana's Online MSW Program. I am attaching syllabi for the courses I teach, which are asynchronous Generalist and Specialization Year seminars. I am attaching four syllabi (1 Fall Generalist Seminar, 1 Fall Specialization Seminar, 1 Spring Generalist Seminar, 1 Spring Specialization Seminar).
