  • 1.  Anyone working with companies that help place students?

    Hello everyone, and happy summer!

    As our out-of-state online MSSW program grows, so do the challenges that come with placing out of state students.  I keep getting emails from companies that work with universities to place students, and I'm not sure how I feel about that model, but decided I should explore it and come to the experts--you all! 

    I'd love to hear any experiences anyone has had with these companies.

    We are just now beginning our online program, however I do place students from our campus-based program in a bordering state due to that being the state of their residence. In the past when I have struggled with finding a placement for a student outside of the state, I have reached out to other bsw/msw programs for possible contacts - I also welcome others to contact our program if they have a need of a contact somewhere.
