    Hello! Our University holds a Practicum retreat at the start of the fall and spring semesters. I try to have a presentation on an important topic related to practicum that is helpful for supervisors, faculty, and students. Are there topics or presenters you have used before that you suggest? Some possible topics are ethical supervision, handling difficult conversations, effective safety planning, creating a fulfilling learning contract. Thank you!

    Thank you for sharing these valuable suggestions. I especially agree that trauma-informed supervision, ethical AI use in practicum environments, and self-care awareness are becoming increasingly important in social work education and field practice.

    I also believe topics such as digital ethics, community resilience, humanitarian coordination, and culturally sensitive communication may be useful additions for future practicum retreats as social services continue adapting to evolving social and technological challenges.
