    I am reaching out to inquire if anyone has adopted a book for their  SW students in practicum and seminar that is alignment with the 2022 EPAS.  If so would you please share the title, and authors of these books?

    I don't have a book that's required for students but I do use Breaking Out of the Box by Drs. Kelly Ward and Robin Sakina Mama to structure my lessons.

    I am planning to upgrade to the text below for our MSW Seminar Course.  I am currently using the 1st edition.

    I have a few ideas, 

    Cengage, Fundamentals of Case Management Practice-Skills for Human Services-Nancy Summers 2025-6th edition-using to prepare students for the NASW/CCM Certification -I use this with MindTap activities such as the Helper Studio

    Pearson, The Social Work Practicum-Preparation for Practice-Cynthia L. Garthwait, 8th Edition-I used this with connection to the My Social Work Lab and My Research Lab.  Thank you.  Karen

    Tamlyn, I co-author a book called Breaking out of the Box through Oxford University Press. It was aligned with the 2015 EPAS, and there was a chart at the front that told you where you could find each connection. We are now editing a new edition, due out in December, adding a chapter on Cultural Humility and updating all the information and relevant connections to the 2022 EPAS. We are also aligned with the US and Canada Code of Ethics and will continue using the most recent changes to the NASW Code. If you need more information, please let me know.

    Hello! I am also looking for a book for my students that align with the 2022 EPAS.  I currently use The Practicum Companion for Social Work: Integrating Class and Field Work 4th Edition by Birkenmaier and Berg-Weger, that aligns with the 2015 CSWE EPAS.  Currently, there is not an updated edition.
