    The presenters invite you to an interactive dialogue centered on the use of simulation to enhance practicum education for all social work students. The Council on Social Work Education 2026 strategic plan asks us to prioritize social work students and provide leadership on emerging technologies. In that spirit, we will discuss contemporary challenges in practicum, describe simulation (actor-based and technology-based) in social work education, and propose the integration of simulation into practicum education to enhance learning. We invite you to bring your ideas and critical questions as we reimagine the future of practicum education together.
