    Hi all, I have emailed info@cswe on a couple occasions trying to track this down and wondered if any of you had easier information on how to access the repository created for field instructor training? I watched the intro webinar from when it was released during covid but the link to that actual repository tools doesn't seem active. Here is the link to the page that discusses the repository. Any ideas? Thanks

    Hi Catherine,
    I spoke to Julie Kates from Portland State a few weeks ago about this. She's one of the creators of the materials. It was taken down by mistake and they are working to track down the google drive and get it back on the website as soon as possible. Hopefully it will be back up soon as it has some really great information!

    I actually did hear back from CSWE this morning, they said that they have taken down the repository for updates. I know I would benefit from this resource as I look to build our instructor training out. I am not sure at what point it is planned for it to be available again. I will update if I hear anymore.

    Hi folks,

    NANFED (North American Network of Field Educators and Directors) has a repository I think is probably similar to what you're talking about. It's not specific to Field Instructor training, but it does have some resources related to this. It is accessible only if you are a member, but membership is very reasonably priced (either by individual or institution) and right now, membership for 2025 is half-off if you contribute an item to the repository.

    Here's the link to NANFED's site: NANFED: North American Network of Field Educators and Directors and if you click on "Member Resources" you can get a sense of the materials they do have.

    Many regions also have a consortium of Field/Practicum Directors; for New England where I'm located, it's called NECON (I am a co-chair along with a colleague from UConn), and speaking from my experience, this group has been a lifesaver in terms of being able to ask questions of peers and share resources.

    For what it's worth, the glitch may be partly due to the fact that one of the original developers/owners of the repository, Dr. Melissa Reitmeir, passed away earlier this year. She left meaningful footprints on our beloved profession.

    I am so sorry to hear of these losses to you personally and to the profession. I am new to the area of field education and looking to learn all that I can. I recently joined NANFED and so am thankful there are other resources available to support those of us new to the area. Thankful for this conversation space.
