Dear Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you as we review and potentially restructure our field seminar course delivery.
We are currently examining our field seminar scheduling, credit per course, and format to better serve our students and optimize learning outcomes. We would greatly appreciate learning from your program's approach.
Would you be willing to share insights about your field seminar structure?
- Specifically, we are interested in: Scheduling format:
- How many hours per week/semester? How many credits?
- Do you use weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or another model?
- How do you structure the mix of didactic content, case processing, and skills practice?
- Which approach is most effective for your students?
Any insights you could share about what has worked well, challenges would be greatly appreciated. Would you prefer a brief phone conversation, or would email responses work better for your schedule? I am flexible.
Thanks
akanke
