Greetings from a very snowy Montana (finally). I hope this message finds you all doing well. Do any of you have a policy/procedure in place identifying failed placements? We typically identify them as they arise and the engage in attempts to facilitate change (by student, supervisor, or agency) prior to considering it a failed placement (not necessarily the student failing the practicum, but that too). We do evaluation of students, agencies and liaisons on an ongoing basis which identifies some of the concerns about placements. I a wondering if anyone has a specific policy or internal evaluation/tracking that they utilize for the many factors that could contribute to a failed placement? Thank you in advance!
