    For those involved directly in the practicum placement process or admissions, how do you assess students for practicum readiness? Are there any structured tools, competency checklist or admissions/early program assessments used in your program?

    Yes, I would be interested in knowing this as well. This is my current research topic, and I would be very interested in connecting with other directors on the topic of practicum readiness.

    Hey Hey,

       I meet with the student at least two-three months before we begin identifying placements. We walk through resume, preparation questions, and emailing the agency to schedule the interview. I found that to be most helpful as I can gauge each student's level of support throughout placement.
