Hello! My name is An Bùi (She/Chị). In Vietnamese, An means "peace". I am a new MFP fellow for the 2022-2023 year, and I'm excited for what the year ahead holds. Currently, I am a final-year MSW student at SJSU, intern at Gardner Health Services, and member of the QTViet Cafe Artists and Healers Collective.
I'm excited to share my expertise in working with youth and young adults from diverse and predominantly first-generation backgrounds in non-profit and school settings about behavioral health, vocation, education, leadership development, community building, social justice, and spirituality.
In this community, I'm looking for peer support and connection, resources, and mentorship as I navigate my final MSW year and work towards becoming an LCSW.
My hobbies are writing and performing poetry, watching series (that includes anime) and movies, reading personal development books and manga, playing life-simulation video games, and enjoying local art and community events.
