I am a licensed social worker and Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Binghamton University. I earned my MSW (2007) from the Rutgers University, School of Social Work and my PhD (2018) from the University at Buffalo, School of Social Work. I also completed a year-long fellowship with the University of Rochester, receiving advanced research and clinical training from the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program. My current program of research, teaching, and service grew out of over 20 years of experience in the field of disability and is dedicated to doing right by the people I came to know during this time.
