I have worked as a Social Worker for the past 37 years in a variety of settings.
My passion and expertise is in the field of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender social justice issues, as well as in HIV/AIDS, a cause that I have been involved with for the past 37 years. Besides directing our field education program, I also teach graduate electives on Diversity, and Sexual Minorities, and am a frequent presenter on LGBTQ+ issues throughout North Dakota, northwestern Minnesota and the region.
In addition to my work at the University of North Dakota, I have been a trainer for several national organizations, and has served on numerous boards and committees.
