Please note important deadlines and information below. The licensing exams are very challenging, and it is very expensive to retake the exam. Moreover, you must wait three months in between exams if you don't pass. Let's pass the first time!!  

1. The BSW Licensing Prep Course will take place Wednesday, May 11, 2022, and the MSSW Licensing Prep Course will take place Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Both courses will meet at the WTAMU Amarillo Center, room 25 from 9am-4pm. Each course will break for a one-hour lunch and snacks will be provided. 
2. The course is designed to be hybrid. Registrants will receive their materials in the mail approximately one week prior to the course, and there will be some required reading. Registrants will also take the pre-test prior to the in-person session, and follow-up with a post-test after the session.
3. During the prep course, registrants will learn how to apply for the licensing exam, strategies for taking the test, we will go through the study guide focusing on important content areas, and practice taking the exam. 

Course deadline: Registration closes for the BSW session on May 1, 2022, at 11:55pm and May 22, 2022, for the MSSW session

Course Fee: $275; Fees are due at the time of registration, or prior to the closing date.
