Dear Subscribers,
We are excited to share the Spring 2025 issue of Applied Learning in Social Work Education (ALSWE), formerly titled as Field Educator. As we embark on this new chapter, we remain committed to advancing research and innovation in practicum education, the signature pedagogy of social work education.
While we typically highlight a few notable articles, for our first issue of ALSWE, we invite you to explore all of the incredible and timely research and reflections featured throughout the issue. These contributions reflect the vital and evolving work happening in practicum education, and we are proud to showcase such thoughtful and impactful scholarship.
We're also excited to share two important updates: our newly redesigned website alswe.simmons.edu and the rebranding of our podcast. Field Talks is now The Conversation-offering the same great content, interviews, and insights under a new name that reflects our broader vision.
Thank you to our readers, contributors, and reviewers for your continued support. We look forward to collaborating with you in this next phase of the journal.
Warmly,
Amy Skeen, DSW, LCSW, PEL
