The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has released its solicitation for the Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS) program. Of qualified health professions, students seeking a graduate degree in clinical social work are eligible to apply. The new solicitation includes some new language around determining which students qualify as "vulnerable," MAHA, and DOJ guidance, among some other changes. It also now opens with a broad statement requiring all proposed activities to comply with current federal law, executive orders, and court decisions.
The deadline to apply for the program is July 28. HRSA will host a webinar detailing more information about the program on Wednesday, July 8, from 2:00 PM-3:30 PM ET. Registration for the webinar is available here.
