The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) has announced applications for the 2024 Faculty Loan Repayment Program (FLRP) will open on May 21. Graduate-level behavioral and mental health professionals and clinical social workers are eligible to receive up to $40,000 in loan forgiveness for a 2-year commitment to serve at an eligible health professions school. Loan recipients must already possess an eligible health professions degree or certificate, and currently serve as a faculty member at an approved health professions school. HRSA has released an accompanying guidance with more information regarding eligibility and loan requirements. Applications will close on July 3.
