    Council on Practice Methods and Specializations & Council on Field Education : A Qualitative Study of Field Instructors' Perceptions of Social Work Competencies Involved in Client Engagement & Developing the Working Alliance

    This research is being done to develop a standardized, valid, and reliable instrument for verifying students' intervention competencies in real or simulated practice. The study process relies on semi-structured focus group interviews, which should last between 45 minutes to one hour.
