I am happy to announce the call for the 2-QTPOC and CSOGIE Awards are now open.

The 2-QTPOC award is given to individuals who have contributed to significant and outstanding peer-reviewed scholarship that enriches the knowledge-base of 2Spirit, Queer and/or Trans People of Color (2-QTPOC) communities, their needs, and effective interventions; an activity or program that fosters or sustains a positive and inclusive culture and climate for 2-QTPOC communities in social work education; and/or mentorship of 2-QTPOC faculty members and/or students.

The CSOGIE award recognizes scholarship that contributes to knowledge about sexual orientation and gender identity and expression; the individual and systemic issues associated with these topics; the development of social work curriculum materials and faculty growth opportunities relevant to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression; and the experiences of individuals who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and/or two-spirit.
