CSWE Government Relations (GR) is sharing a new funding opportunity announcement (FOA) from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) within the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP). The aim of the FOA is "for funding to develop and promote post-secondary and professional continuing education for child protection professions in the field including law enforcement officers, social workers, mental and medical health professionals, and prosecutors." The program seeks to further DOJ's mission by "reducing crime and victimization and promoting public safety through enhancing the capacity of child abuse professionals."

Funding Amount: OJJDP anticipates a total funding of $900,000 to support two awards funded at $450,000 each.
Eligibility: Non-profits and public and private institutions of higher education are eligible to apply.
