    Dear Colleagues,

You are being invited to participate in an important research study regarding disability and disability-competent care in social work field education.  The information gained will be used to better understand how to create meaningful field placements within the field of disability; accommodate students with disabilities in field education; and, support field instructors and liaisons who themselves have disabilities.

If you would like to learn more and/or participate in this study, please click here to be taken to a brief survey that should take you no more than 15 minutes to complete (Direct Link: https://bit.ly/3LUSOBc).  Please note that to participate in this study, you must be: (a) 18 years or older; (b) able and willing to provide informed consent; and, (c) currently serving as a field director for an accredited social work program. The Informed Consent, which provides more details about the study, is attached to this email and included at the start of the survey.

At the end of the survey, you will be asked if you wish to be entered into a raffle to win either a complete set of Binghamton University's Social Work Superheroes or a $50 Amazon gift card.  Two winners will be selected in total.  You will also be asked if you wish to participate in an hour-long focus group later this month; all focus group participants will receive a $10 gift card to either Amazon or Starbucks.

This study is being conducted by a team of researchers from Binghamton University and Rush University.  The Principal Investigator of this study is Dr. Jackie McGinley, PhD, LMSW; she can be contacted at jmcginle@binghamton.edu.
