I am a member of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). I am contacting you today to ensure that social work is included in future COVID-19 relief efforts. Social workers have been a critical component of the COVID-19 response. Both the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have designated social workers as "essential workers."
