Dr. Rebecca Coleman is co-chair of the Women's Council. Over the past 20 years, she has been the BSW field coordinator, Grace College, BSW program director with the University of Saint Francis, and the MSW program director with Southeastern University. Her scholarly interests are in feminist practice, leadership, mutual aid, program accreditation, and teaching and learning pedagogy. Her feminist mentor is Dr. Catherine Marrs Fuchsel.

Dr. Catherine Marrs Fuchsel exemplifies feminist practice through scholarship, teaching, and administration. Her research focuses on immigrant Latino families. Her evidence-based program Yes, I can (Sí, Yo puedo) supports immigrant Latina women with complex trauma experience. In addition, she is the DSW program director at the University of St. Thomas. Most importantly, she encourages others by empowering them to reach their fullest potential.
