The Transforming the Field Education Landscape: Intersections of Research and Practice in Canadian Social Work Field Education partnership, led by Project Director Dr. Julie Drolet, invites applications for the Field Research Scholars program.
This program offers participants an opportunity to enhance their knowledge, skills, and experience in field education research while providing new avenues for professional development, relationship building, and exposure to other innovative field research projects. Field Research Scholars will have the opportunity to present their field research project/initiative and attend scheduled virtual seminars. The training will be conducted remotely and will take place January to May 2024, with regularly scheduled biweekly virtual seminars. Field Research Scholars will receive a $500 honorarium for their participation.
I took part in this program the first year it was held in 2021, and it gave me the opportunity and support to conduct field-related research and publish it in a book with TFEL. I'm happy to answer any questions about my experience - nbeck2@stedwards.edu.
