Great question, we have wonky decimals sometimes too. I tell our folks that they can round up/down to the nearest half point (or full point if that makes it easier for them). We really don't have a policy regarding this, it's really just how we've always down things. The instructor who enters the grade has the discretion to take the evaluation as well as other academic work and interactions into consideration when assigning a final grade. It has never been an issue for us. :) Hope that helps.

I am reaching out with what feels like a silly question regarding field evaluations. We have our MSW supervisors (FIs) rate students on each of the indicators for the competency (1-4 scale)--those scores are then averaged for the total competency score. This leaves us with a bunch of scores that have wonky decimals. We are debating the appropriate way to round scores--for example, to the nearest quarter or half point.
