Hello Field Education Community!
After attending CSWE's Annual Program Meeting last year, we (at the University of Montana - Missoula) have been inspired to try to figure out ways to financially assist our students in unpaid practicum placements. I saw that some Universities are offering travel stipends to students, to help offset some of the costs of driving to and from their practicum placement. Is anyone else implementing some sort of University or School of Social Work stipend or scholarship for this purpose (or similar purposes)? If so, I'd love to learn more about where the funds come from and how you are able to make this happen. Thank you in advance!
