  • 1.  March to end Fossil Fuels

    Hello social work colleagues!
    I am a retired social work professor (2020) now actively working on climate issues. This email invites you & your students to join me at the March to End Fossil Fuels on 9/17 in NYC! Associated with the UN Climate Ambition Summit (https://www.un.org/en/climatechange/climate-ambition-summit), the march specifically calls on President Biden to do more to stop fossil fuels.
     
    I volunteered to be a Hub Captain & committed to bring at least 10 social workers/students to march with me - hoping to bring many more! Could you help recruit by spreading the word to faculty, staff and students? I'm especially hoping those of you located near NYC can attend.
     
    Here's a couple videos to show folks:
     
    As Hub Captain I will keep social work participants organized, communicate march details such as the route, start location, signage, etc.
