I am thrilled to be returning to the Steve Hicks School of Social Work as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to support the school in continuing its academic mission of providing world class education.
I want to personally thank all of you for your tremendous support this year as I served VCU in the Interim Dean role. You have been exceedingly generous and gracious. Thank you for the warm welcome.
It is with great confidence that I pass the torch to Dr. Gary Cuddeback who will serve as Interim Dean beginning on July 1st.
Dr. Cuddeback is an exceptional researcher who joined our school as Associate Dean of Research in 2021 after serving on the faculty of UNC Chapel Hill School of Social Work. This past year Dr. Cuddeback and I have worked closely together as he assumed the role of Interim Dean of Faculty Affairs. You can learn more about Gary's appointment here.
