    Hello everyone!

I have an exciting opportunity I wanted to share with you all in hopes you can attend! Please see below for more information.

As a member of the planning committee and presenter, we would love to have you join us!

    ---------------------------------------
Greetings from the Department of Social Work at UNC-Pembroke!
The 4th annual Southeastern Social Work Conference hosted by the Department of Social Work at UNC-Pembroke will occur virtually on Friday, March 31st, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The theme for this year is "Put it to Practice: Social Work Advocacy in Action," and the day will begin with our Keynote Speaker, Mr. Matthew Scott, District Attorney for Robeson County, sharing more about his work in the community.
Then, you will have an opportunity to hear from Social workers from across the region who will present on the fantastic advocacy work they are doing across the state. As a bonus, you can earn five contact hours for attending the event. What better way to wrap up Social Work Month than feeling more knowledgeable and inspired on ways to continue leading change in the region (and beyond)?
Registration is open until 11:59 pm on March 30th, so consider registering today and sharing with your colleagues!
We look forward to seeing you there!
