The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is now accepting applications for the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP). GWEP aims to educate and train the primary care and geriatrics workforces and other appropriate specialties to provide age-friendly and dementia friendly care for older adults in integrated geriatrics and primacy care sites. Applications are open to accredited graduate programs in clinical social work. HRSA intends to award up to 43 new cooperative agreements at $1 million per award. HRSA is hosting a GWEP technical assistance webinar on December 11th from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. ET. The closing date for applications is February 26, 2024.
