    Hello All,

I am the Field Education Director at Rowan University in New Jersey, and we have a year old MSW program and will be starting our BSW program this fall.  We are trying to make some decisions around accepting BSW senior field placement/seminar class as a transfer option into the MSW program for those who do not meet the requirements for Advanced Standing, but do earn a B or better in this particular course.  Would you mind sharing what your policies are related to this?  If your school does accept the transfer, do you require anything form their field instructor?  A copy of their performance evaluation?  Thanks so much!

We do not accept the BSW field experience as a transfer course to the foundation MSW experience. Foundation year MSW students must do the full prescribed course of study including field placement.

We dot not accept the BSW Field Course as a transfer. Those entering our traditional MSW program are required to complete the generalist and specialist year field practicum experience.
