Hello,
This is great information, as we also have a generalist student placed in our practicum department this semester. How do you address students meeting all competencies? Additionally, would case conferences, student educational groups, and training opportunities qualify as a mezzo requirement? Any ideas to ensure our student is meeting competencies would be helpful.

Hi Aisha,
We also have students interning in our field office and it is open to all student levels. I've modeled some of my learning tasks after Lindsey's at WVU. The job description is attached. Similar to what Lindsey said, the intern can often tailor some of their projects to their own interests. They have created training opportunities for students and field supervisors. One student created an ADEI training with faculty panelists and breakout groups to discuss ADEI across various areas of practice. It was very well received and students left asking for more opportunities to have similar discussions. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello Everyone,
Our Field Education department will be taking on a student intern who is in their Foundational year of placement. We are curious as to whether any of you have had students use the field department as their student placement. If so, do you have a description? What activities did they engage in? Thank you in advance.
