The CSWE Public Policy Initiative (PPI) is sharing a funding opportunity from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). The PPI is able to provide high-level context about this opportunity.
NIMH released a funding opportunity that aims to support COVID-19 research that focuses on the role and impact of digital health interventions (mobile health (mhealth), telemedicine and telehealth, health information technology (IT), and wearable devices) to "… address access, reach, delivery, effectiveness, scalability and sustainability, particularly in populations who experience health disparities and vulnerable populations."
This funding opportunity uses the R01 mechanism to address the secondary health effects related to the social, behavioral, and economic impact of COVID-19, particularly among health disparate and vulnerable populations.
Applications are due on a rolling basis on August 20, 2020, December 2, 2020, and March 2, 2021.
Application budgets are limited to $750,000 in direct costs per year. The maximum project period is 3 years.
