    Posted 18 days ago

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) has issued a Notice of Special Interest (NOSI) on School Mental Health: Innovative Approaches to Expand Access to Evidence-Based Interventions and Services. This notice outlines interest in applications inclusive of community-based approaches that address systematic challenges related to access to school-based behavioral health services, leverage existing research-practice models, identify ways to quantify the resources necessary to implement the intervention, tool, or strategy, and promote health equity. Applications must investigate mental health promotion, prevention, and intervention delivery models for students with mental and behavioral health needs in school settings. This NOSI encourages research that aligns with the NIMH Strategic Framework for Addressing Youth Mental Health Disparities. The first available application deadline is June 5, 2024.
