    The CSWE Public Policy Initiative (PPI) is sharing a funding opportunity from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD).  The PPI is able to provide high-level context about this opportunity.

    NIMHD released a funding opportunity for research on community interventions to "ameliorate the impact of psychosocial, sociocultural, behavioral, and socioeconomic consequences of COVID-19 on the health of populations known to experience health disparities and other vulnerable populations."

    This funding opportunity is for new R01 grants.  Applications are due on August 28, 2020 and December 1, 2020

    Application budgets are limited to $500,000 direct costs annually and the maximum project period is five years.
