    CSWE Government Relations (GR) is sharing the following engagement opportunity from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). CSWE GR is able to provide high-level context about this event.

    On March 30th and April 13th at 2pm-3pm EST the NIH Common Fund's Transformative Research to Address Health Disparities and Advance Health Equity initiative will host a Pre-Application Technical Assistance Webinar for RFA-RM-22-001:Limited Competition: Transformative Research to Address Health Disparities and Advance Health Equity at Minority Serving Institutions (U01 Clinical Trial Optional). This program aims to support investigative individuals or teams with innovate research projects that would have a major impact in developing and implementing innovative interventions to help prevent or ameliorate health disparities. Individuals or teams from Minority-Serving Institutions are encouraged to apply. The NIH program, grants management, and review staff will provide an overall scope and intent of this funding opportunity, the review process, and the use of the cooperative agreement (U01) mechanism. NIH staff will also share resources for implementation science research. You can submit questions prior to the webinar to CFHealthDisparities@nih.gov or on the registration form.
